Our Freelance Program
The name Hashtag IT abbreviated #IT, primarily stems from the idea of bringing together as many IT professionals, IT companies and IT products as possible to provide our clients with the best solutions for their organizations.
In this context #IT has launched its freelance program, where IT professionals can register as Independent Partners and are assigned to IT projects of Business Partners based on their qualifications.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of being a freelancer?
A freelancer is someone who works independently and is not committed to a specific employer. As a freelancer, you therefore seek out clients or projects yourself, have sufficient free time, or at least sufficient flexibility in your schedule. Finding clients and projects is usually the reason most IT professionals choose a permanent position. With a permanent position, you have a steady income, but because the employer also wants security and needs to profit from you, this income will be much lower than your actual worth. You often don’t have room to earn extra alongside your permanent position, while as a freelancer, you can work on multiple projects simultaneously and earn much more.
What does #IT do for these freelancers / Independent Partners?
#IT connects these Independent Partners with projects. They don’t have the hassle of finding clients and don’t have any overhead costs or risks. #IT has one important requirement: the Independent Partners may not perform conflicting work. In other words, they cannot be working for another IT consultancy firm or for the client in question (whether as a permanent employee or freelancer) at the time they are assigned to a project.
